Mia is the Client Services Specialist for Cornerstone, dedicated to making each client’s experience pleasant, positive, and efficient. She strives to be a familiar, friendly face and voice for all Cornerstone clients.
In her role, Mia coordinates closely with clients and product partners in person, by phone, and via email. She schedules client reviews, financial planning meetings, and special events; attends community and marketing functions; and manages the flow of paperwork, including opening, transferring, and servicing client accounts.
A native of Russellville, Alabama, Mia graduated from Russellville High School before attending the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in communication arts. She brings more than 15 years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) field, with expertise in sales, marketing, contract negotiation, proposal writing, contract management, SLA management, and sales and management consulting.
During her children’s early years, Mia primarily focused on being a stay-at-home mom, while actively volunteering as a PTA committee and board member and serving as a substitute teacher. She joined Cornerstone shortly after its inception.
Mia has been married to her husband, Anthony, for over 35 years. They have two children—their youngest (son) is in college, and their oldest (daughter) is married & is currently pursuing her Doctor of Physical Therapy. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing games, cheering on the Crimson Tide, and spending time with her family. She is also passionate about teaching children’s and ladies’ Bible classes.
